Island family owned since 1991.
Bainbridge Senior Living’s story began in 1991, with the love of forward-thinking son-in-law Don Roose. Don’s mother-in-law, Maggie, wanted to continue living on Bainbridge Island, but her big house was getting just a little too big.
So, Don opened the doors of Madison House in downtown Winslow, offering the first assisted living community of its kind in Kitsap County. Now Don’s daughter Morgan serves as President and CEO of Bainbridge Senior Living, and the family business is going strong.
Bainbridge Senior Living offers a variety of lifestyle options and differing levels of care to make sure you will find a community specially tailored to you and your family. From Winslow Manor to Wyatt House, the Madison Avenue House, to Madrona, we are leaders in independent living, respite care, assisted living and memory care, offering a continuation of care that allows our residents to age in place as their needs change.
As our island communities have grown, that high level of service from our family of trained caregivers and nurses hasn’t changed, because our mission remains just as it was when Maggie first moved in:
To be the region’s premier senior living provider by making sure all our houses feel like home.
